Challenge the Hero-April 2014

Challenge the Hero is an event that runs about once a month its a neat concept. Basically heros will take over fairly low level wilds every few hours. And you need to defeat the same hero 50 times in order to recruit them. There is a small chance to automatically recruit after each attack. Hero is there for 30 min so this severely limits the area you can march too. Cavalry is best for this event as they march the fastest. The number on the hero statue corresponds to the wild level. So that tile will have around the same number of troops as a wild of the same level. Wilds troop numbers can be found by clicking on the wilds link.

Equipment- May 2014

Equipment is a necessary part of the game. First level equipment can be found as boss rewards in lower levels of the tower. Equipment can be leveled up with Spirit stones which are found in chests in the tower. Medals can be leveled up with Honor spirit stones which are found in the arena. This guide still needs a lot of work but this is what I have so far for equipment available. If you have information on additional equipment I would be more then happy to add it to this guide.There is obviously some information missing I would love help filling in the gaps.

Leveling up tier 1 weapons (white) first will save you ss in the end. I am currently working on how many ss it takes to get each tier to 50.


Well I spent hours updating this and adding a bunch of pictures only to have the devs change the pictures on me the next day! so the informatin is accurate but the images may not be.

Materials:

Materials are required to upgrade your equipment to the next color. Materials are purchasable in the market for the price listed in (parentheses) next to the material name. They can also be found after boss battles in the Tower, each material has its own level which is listed last. In the market every 10k resource you sell will get you 5 silver coins. The silver coins can then be used to buy the materials.

Tin Ore(50): Required when making green weapons, Found in lost castle (Tower 5)
Light Leather(50): Required when making green Armour, Found in Deadmines (Tower 6)
Agate(50): Required when making green Jewelry, Found in Volcanic Canyon

Copper Ore(200): Required when making Blue weapons, Found in Desert of Despair

Gems:

Gems are used to enhance your equipment. Gems can be found in the Gem hunt or as random prizes in lottery and missions. I will list the Gems and their properties here starting with the weakest first. Gems can be equipped to Equipment in the Inlay tab on the equipment page.

Gem Navigation-May 2014

Click here to get to the Gem screen
This is the Gem screen where you can search for gems. The 5 images across the top are the searchable areas. The further right you get the more likely you are to find high star gems. You have 128 Gem slots available. scroll to the right to view your additional slots. On this screen the Gems that you see are the ones that are not equipped. Clicking on the images will allow you to spend Copper coins and preform a manual search. 
This is the Synthesis screen, green icon on a gem means it is quipped. 
Select a Gem that you want to upgrade. in this example a strength jade. Then select the gems you want to use to upgrade it. you can select 8 gems to use as material at a time. They do not have to be the same color thats just how I do it :) .once you have all the gems you want to use as material selected click confirm bottom right. You can also reach the equipment screen bottom left. 
This is the gold explore screen. This is also where you use those gem search coupons. If you have coupons then the green button will say 0 gold. gold search is a very quick way to obtain lots of gems. There is also the Copper explore which is next to the gold explore button. it will use your copper very quickly though! It just does the manual search faster. 

This is the Exchange page, you can exchange gem fragments for larger gems. During gem events there are even more options.
