Age of Warring Empire

With the new update the title was changed for the game, it changed from Age of Empire to Age of Warring Empire. I assume this change is due to the recent announcement that age of empires would be expanding their market. I will be changing the title of the blog to reflect this change.

Age of Empire- Wilds

There was recently a new feature implemented where you can now Mine your resource fields. That is what people are doing with their resources when it shows a little golden shovel in the corner. Now it does take troops occupying a resource for it to be mineable so be wary when attacking these fields. This is implemeted as a special event that may be happening on and off.

I have compiled a list of wilds how much of a resource they provide and how many npc's there are at each level.

Age of Empire- I accidently switched servers now what?

Well this does happen even if unintentionally. Don't panic the fix is quite easy even if the game support is terribly unhelpful. All you need to do is log into your account and go to the menu, account options and change server. Choose your original server and your account will still be there where you left off.

Age of empire-Five star hero 15 Gr vs. 18 Gr.

So a question many of us have is what hero should I use. Well there are several factors that contribute to how powerful a hero is. Basically the higher the number the better. So a five star will generally be stronger then a four star. However growth rate does contribute a lot to a heroes power. I have mapped out the difference between a 5* 15 gr and a 5* 18 gr ( what I have on hand to test). They appear to grow at a predetermined pattern the pattern was more complex then I would have guessed but still a pattern. Once I deduced the pattern I was then able to mathematically calculate where the hero would end up at level 400.


Five star 15 Growth rate: weekly hero
Pattern: Troops add 16 for each level
Attack: add 4 one level then 5 the next 4 again and so on.
Defense: same as above only using 10 and 11 rather then 5 and 4

so starting out a 5* 15 gr. has
lvl 1. 16 troops 18 attack and 18 defense
and mathematically calculated
lvl. 400 6400 troops 1813 attack and 4207 defense

starting out a 5* 18 gr. has
lvl 1. 16 troops 18 attack and 18 defense
and mathematical calculated
lvl. 400 6400 troops 2172 attack and 5038 defense


So it is pretty clear that a higher growth rate effects more then just how fast the hero will gain levels. At the max level  the 18 gr. has 359 more attack then the 15 gr. and 821 more defense then the 15 gr. It is easy to see how these numbers can have a huge impact on a battle. Keep in mind also that these numbers are before we factor in letter scores.

NPC troops are assigned randomly to the tower but there are only so many  troops per level. To give you an idea of what to expect I have the first 40 levels.

Age of Empire- New Dailys

So with the recent update the Daily task menu has changed to be the "Daily" icon on the main city menu. Most of the tasks are the same some are new. Doing the daily tasks are a great way to make sure you stay on top of your city maintenance. So the new tasks in order of how they appear as well as numbered to correspond with how many points are available for completing each task.

1. Login: obvious login to your city to receive points for this task
1-2: Lottery: again obvious do the free daily lottery. there are 2 points here so one is free the other you would need to pay for the cheapest option being to donate to your alliance either 1 gold or 2k copper will get you a free lottery spin and also help your alliance.
1. On Sale: buy the special currently costs 2 gold but worth it in my estimation, can only buy once a day and after 10 purchases receive a 4 star hero.
1-3: Building upgrade: upgrade a building up too three points for upgrading up to three buildings.
1-10: Tower: clearing up to ten floors of the tower will get you this bonus. Currently the tower is all messed up the npc heros have level S attack as well as full run of the field rather then the limited 5 squares we are allowed to use.
1: Buy resources: this is the same as before where you can get a reward for buying resources with your gold. Each gold coin will buy you 1k of your choice resource. The most expensive way to gain resources in the game.
1-10: PVP city: Attack up to 10 cities to receive all the points possible here
1-5 PVP wilds: Capture up to 5 wilds from other players to receive the pints here.
1-15: Arena: Use all of your 15 arena challenges to get all the points here. You still get your individual arena awards. And it doesn't matter if you win or loose to gain these points.
1-5 Gem explore: do the gem explore 5 times. the free 3 times daily does count towards these points.
1-2 Market trade: trade twice in the market to get two points here. Buying resources works. Talk to your alliance about trading resources to get your points without loosing money. You can get the points buy buying or selling resources. So if you do one trade where you buy and then sell you will get both points.
1: Dragon: Attack the dragon at least once. The dragon is active for 20 minutes every 23 hours. the clock is visible in the map window.

That makes 56 points possible you need 50 to get the heraldry points. The heraldry points don't really seem worth it to me as yes a 4 star 18 growth rate will advance quickly but not be better then a 5 star 18 growth rate. ( what I get when synthesizing 6 5 star from weekly reward)
