Information about the game Age of Warring Empire for android devices. There is a serious lack of information about this game online my goal is to change that. I would love to have feedback or even comments on what you would like me to look into next. I update blog at least once a week so please follow to keep up to date!

What would you all like researched?
Well apparently I just needed a four month break from the game. I have re-installed and restarted. So what would you guys like researched? analyzed? I am not planning on sinking a lot of money into the game if any this time around. But would be more then happy to take suggestions on statistics you are interested in. Or general game information that has not been explained properly beforehand. I am planning on going through the old information and updating it where it needs it with the new changes that have been implemented. I will be posting new posts with the new information so it will be easier to find and identify.

Well as I have been playing I have realized that they have changed just about everything! and there are so many specials going on right now that it will take me time to get all the regular information sorted from the Christmas special information. I am working on getting all my previous posts up to date and will have that information out asap. Is there anything that you would want me to focus on in particular?
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back :-) This is by far the best source of information I've seen so far for this game. My favorite is the Tower Stragey/Combat information from August which I'm using as reference every day. Maybe you want to keep this updated as well.
ReplyDeleteRight now, two questions about this:
- It seems to work pretty well for v2. But in V3, I'm higher in the tower and it often happens that the O's get hits because it's hardly a 1-hit-kill they do. Strategy probably is different here (right now I always put INF/KAV) in front of the O's, which works but most likely isn't the best solution for every formation.
- I often see people bragging "From 1 to 400 in 15 minutes". Ok, I can't believe that, but I indeed see new heroes being Lvl 400 after a few days. How are they doing that? A leveling guide would be great.
Money, I would say that money is the answer to the leveling question. You can buy double exp cards in the market. And then take your level 1 hero to a last battle (last section in a level) in the tower and get a ton of EXP. Since it no longer matters how many opponents a Hero kills for them to get EXP you can simply use your other 3 high level heros to level your new hero rapidly. And thank you very much for the feed back!
DeleteObviously cheating works. And devs don't care. Or people would be banned.
DeleteI'll make changes to the tower strategy / combat guide as necessary. Do post in the comment section, suggestions of areas you'd like me to elaborate on and I'll add those changes as well. But currently all the information remains relevant. The addition I'm currently thinking about adding in the future is the appropriate levels in the tower to train your heroes on while leveling (it'll be based on the heroes attack stats since star level or hero level aren't the most useful predictors of strength anymore). That way players can safely train their heroes without needing to constantly watch out for overpowered generals (that cause heavy troop loses). The troop that needs to be the strongest when training in the higher levels of the tower is your "D." After level 8 in the tower it's likely your "D" will no longer be able to one shot kill your enemies. Without an Achilles, V-day set or another special to strengthen your "D," it's likely you'll begin to take heavy loses (even with a maxed out hero), so be careful. Taking the time to enhance and strengthen your hero equipment can do wonders for your heroes as well. Undergoing the rebirth process for some of your more common 4 or 5-star heroes and then raising these heroes to level 400 can create significant improvements as well.
DeleteWhy can't I get hero Luna after doing the Facebook rewards?
ReplyDeleteMy hero slots were full when I first hit the button, but I dismissed a hero and reinstalled the game and still haven't received the reward.
Probably because the game is itself already linked to your FB page. You should try to msg devs and see what they can do for you. Should only take a month or so for them to get back to you..
DeleteAbsolutely Wonderful Work Rachel. I was really hoping that you would get back to making this blog alive with new information again, and you did come back after all ^___^
ReplyDeleteAnyway, like the previous commenter, I also would like it if you are able to provide some insight on the tower strategy for the V3 servers. I am in 8-4 right now, and I am bleeding troops like hell. In stage 10 of the tower, there seems to be 10K soldiers per battle, and 17K troops during the boss battle.
But the good materials required can only be obtained from the 7th stage onwards, and I quickly get to the point of frustration from losing 6-7K troops in just a days time (grinding Stage 7). So it would be great if you could shed insight on this as well as how best to grind for the materials required for blue/orange weapons and equipment ^___^
Again, kudos on this amazing blog. Helped me a whole lot so far ^___^
If u have no spec hero tips would be try to make all 4 heroes come from the same area for the 5 % buff .
DeleteThe leading hero is the one u upgrade/ most powerfull one it will get hit . Upgrade armour first. . the one behind it will be cats all attack. two other will be 3 archers or whatever they die every round.
U attack then they attack. the first two attacks they make should be against your 3 troops.
If u do the daily u can get aries 4 star if u have two of them and if ether proc then u will not lose and out of your main troops which would be 30% chance sice they attack 3 times before getting hit .
Thank you very much :) I am working on more tower guide information but it will take me some time as I have to work my way up as well.
DeleteI certainly can understand your frustration with loosing so many troops in a day. I would recommend grinding a lower level where you can level your heros to get a higher defense rating. Also utilizing decoy troops if you are not already is a great troops saver.
I am also working on a page for the equipment but again it will take time, so please be patient with me.
How to synthesize? Can't find the place to do it
ReplyDeleteI believe that the synthesize feature has been removed from the game. Perhaps it was glitchy but more likely they just want more money.
DeleteHow are so many people getting special heroes even when there not listed to buy? Is there a chance in the tavern to get them?
ReplyDeleteI'll answer several of the questions I see:
ReplyDelete#1 Leveling troops - the higher you get into the tower, the easier it is to level quickly since the exp ratios increase and the number of troops killed per round increases (reducing the amount of tower energy required to level efficiently). Raising a troop from 1-400 in 4-8 hours is quite easy after level 8 in the tower especially if you already have a level 400 defensive general to take all the hits with and at least 20k troops in your barracks. Use a double exp card to get more bang for buck out of your troop loses, and to reduce the tower energy you need. Then simply follow the tower/combat strategy guide, choosing your levels based on the level of the troops you're trying to strengthen. Keep in mind that while leveling troops, its best to use a lvl 400 as the defensive general and to place the troops you want to level in the "o" position. This reduces the amount of troops you lose during each fight and maximizes the exp gained by the troops you want to level since they're in the attacking "O" position. With a decent defensive general, leveling a hero from 1-400 shouldn't cost more than 6k troops during each run (which means that you can raise 2 heroes to lvl 400 with each lot of 6-8k troops you sacrifice). The stronger your lvl 400 heroes get through rebirths and enhancements, the lower the troop death number will go. With exp cards that number is cut in half.
#2 Troops loses - there's not much you can do to prevent troop loses after level 7 or so in the tower, you will lose a lot of troops no matter what. Stronger players lose fewer troops due to their increased defense and higher attacks (able to one hit kill in higher levels) but they lose a lot of troops as well. If you find you're not 1-hit killing the generals, then go down a level until your heroes are all level 400. After you've maxed out your generals, there's really not much besides enhancements, gem and equipment upgrades to ensure you one hit kill your enemies. Personally I'm on level 8 in the tower and I still can one shot the opposing generals but that may be due to my enhancements. But it's likely after stage 9, your generals will take additional damage unless you either use rebirthed heroes in the "D" position or have really high gem levels. The "D" position is weakest due to the limitations of infantry strikes. You might find it prudent to switch to Calvary or Cats as the attack requirements of that position increase. I personally don't recommend the dual "A" formation which has two sacrificed archers due to the fact that it still leads to a strike and instead of a infantry backed "D" taking the strike a weaker defense catapult backed "O" does. I also don't recommend the formation because the 2 hero formation is weaker than the 3 hero formation as well. Both take similar damage (the 2 formation might even receive higher troop loses) while mistakes cost the 2 hero formation far higher loses due to the missing extra defensive general to take the damage. But to each his/her own I guess.
#3 Synthesize - This feature was eliminated during the hero rebirth update. However, those who still haven't upgraded their games can still use the feature, especially those on ios.
#4 Special heroes - They were given out on Christmas day and in plenty of events throughout Christmas (2 out of the 4 were free, so many people received them), they can also be obtained in the tavern.
Also exp cards can be obtained with patience. No need to buy them, just wait for the daily lottery or the welfare slots to land on them. But if you have the gold and want to do some serious leveling within a 24 hour period, they're worth it.
ReplyDeleteWhat do the "A, "B"," C", "D", and even "S" on the heroes card mean?
ReplyDeleteHow efficient they are at commanding certain troops. s=20%bonus, a=15% e=-5%

Is there a damage calculator anywhere out there? To determine the damage to be done by a hero with a ___ attack and a certain number of ___ troops.
ReplyDeleteBasically, I want to determine whether synthesizing gems into my **** attack gem (+300 attack) or into my **** leadership gem (+13 troops) gets me more bang for the buck. Does adding 13 level 4 archers add 650 * 13 = 8,450 attack (plus 3,120 defense) vs. only 300 for the attack gem?
[I am only a lvl 10 player and my heroes around level 100.]
That is an excellent question, and one that I have never considered. When I first started playing I tried to calculate the damage and attack dealt by each of my heros, but the calculators had too many variables for me to track. So I honestly have no idea.
Delete(probably a better place for this)
ReplyDeleteThank You for your work. I have not seen a good explanation how the single resource 20% & all resource 20% buffs work/stack with the Technology Building % increase, Alliance % Increase, and any Imperial City % increase... looking at what is possible to get to the 800k acheivement. Thanks
This gets a bit confusing. The displayed gains on buildings and resources are not accurate in game. Close but not 100%. The formula is ((building output)*(tech+alliance+1) +(wilds))*buffs but like I said not completely accurate but close.
DeleteHave you ever worked on the probability of equipment material rewards in tower? I began tracking, and the 3 chest by far receives the most material. However, I am trying to figure out the random probability function they are using.
