- Alliances are ranked by prestige to gain prestige you can
- Upgrade your buildings (very minimal amount of prestige)
- Go through the tower, each boss has more and more prestige to offer. Do a tower run every hour is possible. Even if it says you have no stamina left give it a go there is a glitch where it doesn't show until you attack.
- Fighting other cities, attacking with no loss of troops will get you 1 prestige per attack, attacking with troop losses will get you much more prestige.
- Donate, Try to donate at least 1 gold coin a week. With around 80 members that adds up quickly and doesn't cut into peoples "savings" to much. donating resources is a different statistic. We have to have gold coins donated to be able to level up.
- Leveling up the alliance benefits us all. There is alliance wide technologies that we can research. That help us out just as personal technologies help out. In addition to the technology there is also the welfare, lottery and Medic. The Medic will help you a lot and the more donations we get the more we can make this office help.
- When using the Medical office round down to the nearest hundred troop to replenish. In this way you maximize your efficiency.
- Anyone can see in the research hall what we need to be able to level up.
- Requesting assistance: If you are going to request assistance you need to have defensive troops on your wall already or else we cannot help you.
- Once your request for aide has been sent out we get a message, if we try to accept the message we can then contribute gold or copper coins to assist you. This will result in a percent increase of the troops you are using to defend yourself. If you don't have any troops defending yourself then we cannot increase. 5% of 0 is still 0 :)
- Try to access the alliance chat at least once a day that way we can all get to know each other. And most in there can answer any questions you might have
- There is a lot of information on this blog some completely out dated and some still valid poke around for ideas on how to keep up in the game.
- I am always looking for new research suggestions please let me know if you have a particular question.

What realistic expectations should an alliance have for their leadership?
ReplyDeleteFor them to advance the alliance in a timely manner. Level ups as well as research. To sign up for alliance events that would possibly advance the alliance. To give advice to players when asked. I do not expect leadership to assist every player when asked. Generally in my experience even when attempting to assist a player they have no troops on their wall to assist. Is there a specific expectation that you had that was not met?
DeleteNo. Just that there are a lot of questions about single player strategy, expanding your empire and improving your forces but not a lot about working as an alliance. I am currently not in an alliance and just wanted to know if I was missing anything.
DeleteHoooorahhhhhhhh
DeleteNice job Dedo. Great advice for them beginner and a great way to communicate off server. For those with experience in V3 but not V4...now most servers, considering how an overall strategy need change is warranted. For example, if you are in war, your available food to built troops (compared to your opponent) often makes all the difference.
ReplyDeleteA suggestion: with the recent change in criteria for upgrades, editing the section on gold (and encouraging more general resources) might be warranted.
