Age of Empire- Market 2

I know before I said that the amount you can sell is based on the amount that you do sell. I also believe that it is based on if you cancel transactions then your sell-able amount will go down faster. To keep your sell-able amount up make trades with other players. You buy what they have and you need and they buy the same amount from you. Thus no money lost but needed resources gained.

  1. The maximum amount sell-able is dependent on your current resources. I've noticed that when I have a ton of resources, the max is higher. When I have fewer, the amount is lower. This also coincides when I usually cancel trades to gain access to those resources. This may be why the amount goes down after you cancel trades. Basically you're more likely to have fewer resources when you go to cancel the trades. Though I'm uncertain if cancelling trades really does directly affect the trade amount...it very well may.

    1. Yes the more resources you have available the higher your limit. If you cancel trades though this amount drops even though now you have more resources. Likewise if you sell goods you can sell more even though you now have less to sell.

  2. I haven't seen a drop in my trade limit after cancellations. Try it out. Create a trade and immediately cancel it and check to see if your trade limit drops. Today I confirmed (or at least I think I confirmed) that this trade limit is based solely on the resource you have most of. To test this I limited the amount of my other resources and maximized a single resource and my trade limit soared.

    1. Perhaps it is different in different servers. I am working in server 45, but i also have not worried about trade in several months. So it might have changed. But thank you for keeping the information up to date.
